In 2013, Sabrina Greenlee founded S.M.O.O.O.T.H, Inc. - "Speaking Mentally, Outwardly Opening Opportunities toward Healing". The mission of S.M.O.O.O.T.H, Inc. is to educate and empower women, children and families through education, mentoring, counseling, lectures, and outreach activities.

S.M.O.O.O.T.H, Inc. is focused on raising awareness about the effects of domestic violence. Our organization consists of 13 active members. We are dedicated to supporting families of Domestic Violence, helping the transition from caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly, giving the hope for a better tomorrow.

In South Carolina, the femicide rate (the rate in which a woman is murdered by a man) is often over twice the national average. In every year that records have been kept, South Carolina ranks in the top ten states in the nation in the rate of women killed by men. Domestic violence is a silent crime, where individuals are stripped of their power, their voices and at the worst of times, their lives. S.M.O.O.O.T.H, Inc. is dedicated in supporting families in getting their power back. We strive in bringing awareness to domestic violence, its effect and through various activities.

Domestic violence is an epidemic affecting individuals in every community, regardless of age, economic status, sexual orientation, gender, race, religion, or nationality. Domestic violence goes beyond the physical and seeps its way into the mental, and we, S.M.O.O.O.T.H, Inc. have the opportunity here to light a candle in a seemingly dark cycle by informing and inspiring our community.
